Riga - Day 3 (Tuesday)

Tuesday in Riga – by Andrea

On Tuesday, I got up at 7:30 and I ate a hotdog for breakfast. Then I went to the "Purvciems Riga" high school and we were split into two groups.
The first group went to a classroom for a painting lesson and the second group were playing a game. It was a game with questions and answers, a quiz. If you said the correct answer you earned points.
When the two groups finished their activities they changed.
Then we were playing the piano and singing with the other students of the different countries.
At eleven o`clock we went to the school and we ate some typical sweets from Latvia.
Then we went on the bus to go to Jurmala. We stopped in a forest to see a museum of and we had a walk from the forest to the beach.
After that we had lunch, we ate salmon.
When we arrived to the high school at 5 o`clock we went bowling with our hosts. It was really funny. There we ate some pizza and we went back to our homes.
When I was at home I had a shower and I went to bed at 12 o`clock.

I got up at 7:00 am. I went to the high school at 8:30 am. There we visited the classes; the headmaster spoke to us about the school. It has many students (more than 1200) from children to teenagers; primary to secondary (12 grades).
Then we had a little coffee time and we went to the bus to go Riga center.
There, two students from 12 grade explained to us some interesting things about a few famous monuments. We also visited the City Hall and the mayor talked to us about the city, and gave us some presents from Riga.
We visited the Old Town in Riga, there we took a lot of photos and it was more beautiful than the center.
We ate in a restaurant called "Lido" (it's a well-known restaurant for its food), however I didn't like it too much.
After that we bought bus tickets and we went to Andrey's house. There we played "fifa" and made some silly things. At 19:30 we took the bus and came back home.
When we arrived I had dinner and after that I helped Polina with her Spanish homework. Then I had a shower and went to bed.

Molfetta - Return day (Saturday)

HAVING A NICE TRIP!    By Lourdes

We got up at four o'clock in the morning because the transfer to Bari was waiting for us at half past four. We thanked the parents, who were waiting for us, and said goodbye as we got on the minibus.
We arrived on time to Bari airport and then we had time to say bye bye to the Turkish people, who were already at the airport, and to go through the check-in.
We were taking off at quarter past six from Bari to Rome and when we arrived had time to have breakfast and to do some shopping. Then we took off from Rome to Malaga airport at ten o'clock and this last flight was softer than the first one, in fact they didn’t serve us anything.
Finally we were in Málaga on time again, at half past twelve, but the last transfer was waiting for us for nearly one hour at the exit gate because the luggage didn't get out till very late.
So he picked us up and we were in Nerja at half past two in the same meeting point where the trip had begun.
Definitely we had a nice trip!!!

There were a lot of things here that were used on ships. An old man told us the history about the first ship in the world. We then went to eat at the "TPIS SAR, Aldo moro" (Catering school) but before that we had to participate in a presentation about fishes. In the afternoon we went to Castle del Monte by Federico the second. It has a different form based on the number 8 (infinite perfection). Monday by Ricardo 1ºBTO. B

I woke up at 7:15 am and I had some chocolate milk and a croissant for breakfast. At 8:20 am, we arrived at school and the teachers introduced themselves and talked a little about the program. Then, we went for a walk and visited the old Cathedral near the sea, and we took a lot of photos. Later, we walked inside the Cathedral, where they explained its history to us. After that, we walked for like 30 minutes to go to a catering school where they served us food that the students had prepared, which was pizza, omelette, pasta and dessert. In the afternoon, we got back to the school and we, alongside Italy, Turkey, Latvia, and Greece, presented the water sports we practice in our cities or towns. All the presentations were really good and it was very interesting to see all the sports you can practice in some areas. There was a voting: teams had to decide which was the best presentation. Spain tied with Greece but in the end, the others voted the Greek as the best presentation video. Then we went home. I took a shower, I read a little bit and at 22:30 I had dinner with the family and I had pizza, hand-made by my host’s mother and then I got back to reading, and at about 23.30, I went to sleep.
